went to check out the miniature golf course at Give Kids the World. It only had 7 holes and was called the Dino Putt Putt. It had rained the night before so the course was wet but it was fun. A couple of the holes had dinosaurs that made noise when you got your ball in the hole and one hole had a dinosaur that spit at you when you walked past and another that spit at you when you went to get your ball out of the hole. That took us by surprise the first time but Nathaniel especially loved it. Other than that we just hung out at Give Kids the World. Some of us played pool, ping pong, and video games and others read or took a nap. It was a relaxing morning and then we were off to the airport. The trip home was pretty ordinary. We had a layover in Chicago and ate some dinner. We arrived in Salt Lake at 9:45 and got home around 11:00. Jenny was very excited to see us and we were just tired!! Joseph's Make a Wish vacation was truly a dream come true. It lived up to his expectations and then some. For us it truly was a celebration of his life and all the hard things our family has gone through this past year. This will be my last post on this blog but even if we are not at Disney World or always on vacation we have learned to truly appreciate every day of the lives we have been given. It is amazing how trials always seem brightest after they are over.
